Cyclopark - Kent County Council

Cyclopark is a brand new multi-sports facility set in 43 hectares of parkland just south of Gravesend.

The facility offers a comprehensive range of cycle sports disciplines and related sports and is said to be the biggest of its kind in Europe. Construction started in January 2010 and the park opened its doors to the public on Sunday 27th May 2012 with a mass participation cycle ride in conjunction with British Cycling and Sky ride.

This fantastic development has been led by Kent County Council. Over £8 million of sponsorship and support has been given from Sport England, British Cycling, Colyer Fergusson Trust, Kent County Council, Homes and Communities Agency, Balance – Two Seas intereg funding and Gravesham Borough Council.

Kent County Council is working hard to improve access to the wider countryside and establish new woodland and grassland habitats as part of the parkland.
